Spiced Apples with Low-Fat Granola and Yogurt |

Ingredients:
1 large Granny Smith apple, cored and thinly sliced ¼ cup unsweetened apple juice 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice ¼ teaspoon grated lemon zest ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon ¼ teaspoon ground ginger 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice 2 Tbsp. plain nonfat yogurt Preparation: In a small saucepan combine the apple, apple juice, lemon juice, lemon zest and spices. Bring to a boil. Lower the heat, partially cover, and Simmer until apples are tender, about 8-10 minutes. Spoon the apples with their sauce into 2 cereal bowls, dividing equally. Top with yogurt and sprinkle with granola. Makes 2 servings.
